Kawakawa balm

Kawakawa is a well known native New Zealand medicine plant, and commonly used for its healing properties. 

This recipe was originally created to help calm our sons eczema, with ingredients carefully selected and trialed until we found the perfect combination.  

We use a range of natural ingredients including Almond oil for its emollient  properties, and the vitamin E to add a protective barrier to retain the moisture. 

We add extra Manuka oil to assist the skins natural healing process and add in some extra antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. Calendula is also added for its calming and soothing effect on dry irritated skin. 

A multipurpose soothing balm for skin irritations such as eczema and dry skin conditions, bites, sores and nappy rash.
