This honey is produced through the extraction process, when we melt the wax cappings down into raw beeswax blocks in our wax melter. During this process, the honey is heated to around 70 degrees which gives it a bold caramel flavour, making it perfect for baking!
Honey is much sweeter than sugar, so if using it for baking, substitute 1 cup of sugar for 2/3 cups of honey. The moisture content of the honey makes beautiful moist cakes! It is also a healthier alternative.
